What's Included in Local Delivery?
Local delivery within our service area is included in the price of the machine, no separate freight charge. What "local" covers and how the machine gets carried in still depends on distance and site access, which is why delivery is quoted upfront rather than baked into a flat rate for every order.
How Much Do Expedite and Same-Day Delivery Cost?
Both are available on top of standard delivery, and both carry an added fee on top of the base price. Expedite delivery compresses the standard window when your schedule can't wait for the full 2 to 5 days. Same-day delivery is limited to local and NYC-area locations given drive time and routing. These are the two ends of how a machine actually gets from the truck to its final spot, and the difference matters more than most buyers expect.
How Do You Prep Your Site Before Delivery Day?
Two things stall a delivery more than anything else: the wrong outlet and a doorway the machine can't clear. Both are easy to check in advance.
Power
Most vending machines run on a standard 115-volt circuit and plug into a regular commercial three-prong grounded outlet, the same kind found in most break rooms and lobbies. Refrigerated machines draw more current than dry snack machines, so a dedicated circuit (nothing else pulling power from the same breaker) is strongly recommended. Never run a vending machine off an extension cord. It's a fire risk, and most operators, us included, won't leave a machine plugged into one.
Space and Access
Measure the doorway and hallway the machine has to pass through, not just the final spot where it will sit. As a rule of thumb, the doorway should be at least 2 inches wider than the machine itself. Leave roughly 3 feet of clear space in front for customers and for the door to swing open during restocking, plus a few inches of rear clearance for ventilation on refrigerated units. The floor should be level and solid. If the machine is going anywhere above ground floor, confirm the elevator or stairwell can actually fit it before delivery day, not after the truck arrives.
What Happens If Your Site Isn't Ready?
If the outlet isn't right or the machine can't clear the doorway on delivery day, the drop-off usually has to be rescheduled, which pushes your in-service date back and can add a return-trip fee depending on distance.
